I cannot log into my mobile app. What could be the reason?

The mobile app remembers your user login and allows auto-login when the app is invoked. If you have never logged into your mobile app, please ensure the following:

  1. Please ensure you have the latest version of the mobile app on your phone.
  2. Please ensure your ecobee3 is registered. If you have not yet registered your ecobee3, please follow the steps described here
  3. Please ensure you have entered the correct email address and password. If you do not remember your password, please log into www.ecobee.com , Click Login and Forgot Password to generate a new password
  4. If the above steps do not work, please contact support
